Menthol Main use:
1. Both menthol and racemic menthol are used as perfumers in toothpastes, perfumes, beverages and sweets. In the world, China and Brazil are the main natural peppermint production parks, and the annual output of peppermint oil reaches 2000-3000t.
2. Widely used in daily flavor, food flavor, tobacco flavor. Generally in chewing gum 1100mg/kg; 400mg/kg in candy; 130mg/kg in baked goods; Ice cream 68mg/kg; 35mg/kg in soft drinks.
3. It has bactericidal and antiseptic effect.
