Application
As a reducing agent, th iourea dioxide is widely used in the printing and dyeing industry for wool bleaching, dyeing with vat dyes and su lphur dyes, reducing detergents for disperse dyeing, and discharge decolorizing agents. In organic synthesis, it is used to reduce ketones, quinones, nitro, azo, azoxy, azoxy, sub-azo compounds and organic sulfides. Th iourea dioxide is also used as a variety of decolorizing chemicalbook agents, a sensitizer for photographic latex, a chemical reagent for separating rare metals rhodium and iridium, and can improve the stability of polyethylene. Adding thi ourea dioxide to the evaporation process of polyacrylonitrile and polymerization can improve the color of polyacrylonitrile, and is an important supporting product for synthetic fiber production. This product is also widely used in the production of fine chemical products such as medicines and spices.
