1. Adsorption indicator. REDOX indicator. Fluorescence photometric analysis of sulfur ions. Fluorescein is the substrate of luminous substances. A substance that gives fluorescence to many living things. It forms a complex with ATP (luciferin adenosine), which then binds to the lucifase (1uciferase). The activated luciferin emits light during oxidation. The entire reaction is used for the detection of living organisms or for quantitative analysis of very low levels of bacterial contamination.
