This product is used for the synthesis and dehydration of amikacin and amino acids. It is a good low-temperature biodehydration agent and also used in the synthesis of acids, anhydrides, aldehydes and ketones. In Japan, dehydrating agents for glutathione account for 90% of total consumption. When the product is used as a dehydrating condensing agent, it can be reacted at a normal temperature for a short period of time, and the product after the reaction is dicyclohexylurea. Since the product has a small solubility in an organic solvent, the reaction product is easily separated; at the same time, since the product is hardly soluble in water, the reaction can proceed even in an aqueous solution. The product is also used for the synthesis of peptides and nucleic acids. It is easy to synthesize peptides from compounds having a free carboxyl group and compounds having a free amino group at room temperature, and the yield is high.
