Pelargonic acid is a colorless and transparent liquid at normal temperature and pressure. It is an organic compound with certain polarity and acidity. Usage
Organic synthetic raw materials, azelaic acid can be produced by oxidation, nonylamine can be produced by ammoniation and hydrogenation, and nonanol can be produced by pressurized hydrogenation. Pelargonic acid is also used in the production of pelargonic acid ester plasticizers and as a paint Chemicalbook desiccant. Pelargonic acid has a light fat and coconut aroma. It is a permitted edible flavor according to my country's GB2760-86 and is mainly used to prepare coconut and berry flavors.
